Find the part with better evidence.

Start with what you know—even when the exact part is not listed here. Use a VIN, OEM number, vehicle details or connector notes, then bring the result back to RoadSpec or ask us to help source it.

Not in our catalog?

The tools still help. Keep the identifier and evidence, then send us the details. We can review an unmatched request instead of making you start over.

  • Search an exact reference first.
  • Save the vehicle and connector details.
  • Ask support to review a hard-to-find item.

How to use the result.

Use the tool to narrow the choice, then use the listing to confirm what will actually arrive.

01

Identify

Start with the most specific evidence you have: a complete number, VIN or label photo.

02

Compare

Check configuration, connector layout, position, included pieces, condition and photos.

03

Plan

Confirm whether installation, coding, relearning or calibration may be needed before checkout.

04

Ask

If evidence is missing or the match is unclear, send the RoadSpec SKU or saved notes to support.

Tool questions.

Short answers before you start.

Can I use these tools for a part RoadSpec does not list?

Yes. The VIN, number and checklist tools are useful for gathering evidence even when there is no exact catalog result. Send the details to support so we can review whether the part can be sourced or whether a comparable listing needs closer checking.

Does a VIN or OEM number guarantee the part will fit?

No. A VIN identifies the vehicle basics and a number helps identify a component, but options, connectors, position, software and physical condition can still differ. Confirm the complete listing evidence before ordering.

Do you save the information I enter?

The connector checklist stays in this browser unless you choose to contact us. The VIN is sent only to NHTSA for the public lookup and is not saved by the workspace. Email updates use the separate, optional RoadSpec signup.
